Biography:

Nicole was born and raised in Nova Scotia.  She attended University in Halifax and completed her Animal Health training in Truro, NS. After graduating with her AHT diploma, Nicole worked in a progressive Small Animal practice in Fredericton, NB for a couple of years before she moved to Calgary in 1998.  Nicole continued to work in small animal practice but developed an interest in management as well.  After working at 9th Ave Animal Clinic for 8 years as manager and an AHT she moved on to the C.A.R.E. Centre where she started managing there as well.  The Referral and Emergency Centre gave her excellent tools to move into her team lead role with the University of Calgary.  She enjoys working with an excellent group of technicians and veterinarians with the Faculty and has really found her “dream job”!  Nicole enjoys spending time outside of work with her husband and daughter.
