Information for Presenters

To confirm your attendance, please register.
Presentations are to be a maximum of 20 minutes long, with an additional 5 minutes for questions.
To facilitate presentation set-up prior the symposium, please upload your PPT slides any time before 5:00 pm CT on September 5 to this link: https://vet.ucalgary.ca/form/submit-your-presentations
We also need a photo and short bio (three lines maximum) for introducing your presentation. Please email the bio and photo by 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 1.
We look forward to seeing your Poster Presentation during our wine & cheese poster session on Thursday, September 7.
Poster size must be 36"W X 48"H.
You will be responsible for the printing and payment of your poster. The University of Calgary offers print services (UCalgary Printshop) that you can use by calling 403.220.6000 or emailing: printshop@ucalgary.ca. If you are using UCalgary Printshop, please email them your posters before August 23. Our symposium team will ensure all posters are picked up from the University Printshop on your behalf. If you are printing these elsewhere, you are responsible to pick them up and bring them to the symposium.
Please make sure you register for the symposium here, if you haven’t done so already. You must register to confirm acceptance of a poster presentation.

Poster Presentations will take place during our wine & cheese poster session on Thursday, September 7.

In addition, we look forward to hearing your Short Talk Poster Presentation during the conference, the timing and further details of which will be communicated to you shortly. Please plan to have prepared a PowerPoint presentation to submit to us by September 5. This short presentation will consist of a seven-minute oral presentation (with an additional two-minutes allotted for questions). Please use this link to submit your presentation.

If you are using UCalgary Printshop, please email them your posters before August 25. Our symposium team will ensure all posters are picked up from the University Printshop on your behalf. If you are printing these elsewhere, you are responsible to pick them up and bring them to the symposium.
To have your poster pre-printed for pick up in Calgary, please email your order to: printshop@ucalgary.ca with the following information:

We will pickup the posters from the Printshop and have them delivered to CSB.
Payment information (credit card) and a signed quote are required before orders are sent to production.
Poster printing usually takes between 6-10 business days.
