Dr. Deodatus Ruganuza (MD) is a faculty member and clinical researcher at the Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences (CUHAS), Mwanza, Tanzania. Currently, he is a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Gilleard (cotutelle PhD studentship in partnership with CUHAS and University of Calgary). Dr. Ruganuza investigates the emergence of drug resistant human hookworms in rural communities in NW Tanzania and the role of wildlife as reservoirs of infection.
