Hondu

I purchased Hondu as a yearling from an Arabian breeder Linda Henry in Alberta, along with another Arabian for my 13-year-old daughter, who had been in the 4H equine program since age 9. Hondu was a handful of spirit and a busy nature, but we kept learning together through 4H groundwork skills, saddling and riding in a round pen, then sent him for training for 6 weeks with an Arabian expert Darlene Brouwer in central Alberta. Hondu was 22 and never showed any illness in his life with me, and we shared clinics in English dressage, western equitation, trail riding in the Alberta Rockies, and rode 4 days with the Cancer fundraiser ‘Wild Pink Yonder’ as a 8 year old! We came a long way together and I trusted him dearly, and learned how to listen to his needs and be patient with my requests as he was quick to learn and so willing to please ❤️🐴❤️. I miss him dearly, and hope to start riding his best buddy, Chachi, my daughter's horse. Thank you for the opportunity to give memory and tribute to the finest horse Handsome Hondu
