Global Engagement at UCVM

We envision being a globally engaged top veterinary faculty, advancing animal and human health by integrating global perspectives into our research, education and knowledge mobilization. Through strengthening our global impact, our graduates and faculty members will be at the forefront of tackling world problems in collaboration with international partners.

• Create, disseminate and apply knowledge to address animal and human health issues relevant to Alberta, Canada and beyond; 
• Expose the next-generation DVMs and researchers to global perspectives; 
• Leverage our expertise in reforming international veterinary education; and 
• Contribute to international capacity building for the promotion of animal health, welfare and productivity, and the promotion of human health and wellness.
