Preliminary Policy Lab Findings Webinar

Investigating water sustainability in Alberta's agriculture through digitalization.

The  Simpson Centre’s Policy Lab team presents preliminary findings from our Policy Lab sessions investigating Water Sustainability in Alberta's Agriculture through Digitalization.

Funded by the Government of Alberta under the Simpson Centre's Alberta Digitalization Agriculture (ABDIAG) Program, the Policy Lab has been a multi-phase initiative designed to foster collaboration and generate impactful solutions for Water Sustainability in Alberta's Agriculture through Digitalization.

To address Alberta's water availability challenges in agriculture, crop and livestock producers, researchers, industry professionals, government officials, irrigation districts, and other participants come together in the Policy Lab to develop a plan to optimize water use, protect the environment, and support business growth.

In this webinar session, Juhi Huda (Policy Lab Lead and Simpson Centre Research Associate) highlights key insights from the first two policy lab sessions and shares emerging themes in preparation for the third and final Policy Lab. Moderated by Roshanne Sihota, Simpson Centre Project Coordinator.
