Animal welfare is a critical aspect of veterinary medicine. There are many routes to become involved in animal welfare and research. We are lucky to have many members of our faculty who are passionate about improving and advocating for animal welfare!
Dr. Ed Pajor
Dr. Ed Pajor is a Professor of Animal Welfare at the UCVM in the Department of Production Animal Health. He is recognized internationally for his research in areas of swine, dairy, and poultry behaviour and welfare, as well as his expertise in animal welfare standards and legislation.
