Small Animal Technician
Small animal technicians fill many roles here at UCVM. Like many other technicians, they assist in teaching and caring for the animals. They play an integral part in the day - to - day function of the school. Learn more about our technicians below!
Tanya Sooley
Tanya Sooley is a Clinical Teaching Support Technician at UCVM. She completed her diploma in Animal Health Technology in Ontario, and worked in an emergency clinic in Ontario for ten years before moving to Alberta. She has had an extensive teaching career in Alberta, having taught veterinary assistants, veterinary technicians, and veterinarians.
