Biography
Steve is Principal of AgroMedia International Inc, a company that provides communication services as well as contract scientific and technical support to the Canadian dairy industry. Operating under the name ‘AgInformatics’ the company also provides data management and analysis services to the agricultural research community. A portfolio of previous work can be viewed at www.agromedia.ca. A recent offshoot of AgroMedia is Farm Animal Care Associates, a business focused on assisting farmers with the adoption of science-based best management practices for animal health and welfare.
Awards
Steve has received numerous awards for his work, including:
- 2003 WCDS John Kennelly Award of Merit for outstanding contribution to the western Canadian dairy industry
- 2011 Alberta Farm Animal Care Award of Distinction for Innovation
- 2013 Alberta Milk’s Dairy Industry Achievement Award
