All students are required to meet with their supervisory committees 1 time per year. These meetings should be minuted and committee meeting report forms and minutes are to be submitted to your graduate program office.

Online Registration through the MyUofC Portal
Establish and meet with Supervisory Committee
Once your committee has been established please submit the names of your committee to your Graduate Program Administrator
Submit your Annual Progress Report online
- Annual Registration (MyUofC Portal)
- Submit an Approved Research Proposal and the Research Proposal Form
- Submit Permission to Write in the form of minutes from your committee meeting (3 months before the examination).
- At least 6 weeks before your MSc defense, provide all required information to your Graduate Program Administrator to put together your examination documentation
- MSc Thesis defense
- Apply for convocation through your MyUofC Student Centre. Review convocation deadlines and requirements.

Admission to Candidacy
- Admission to Candidacy will take place within 18 - 22 months of initial registration in program

- Review the Admission to Candidacy requirements and administrative process
