Putting Audi into words feels nearly impossible because he was so beyond special but... Audi was four years old when he left the track to begin a new chapter with me. From the first day I had him, he gave his whole heart to everything I asked of him and everyone around him knew he was special. He was truly one of a kind. Audi was endlessly affectionate, always nudging for cuddles and soaking up every ear scratch and begging for every mint he could get (he was a real mint connoisseur!). 

One summer, our young nieces came to visit the horses, and I trusted Audi to take care of them. He was only five at the time, and I’ll admit, I was nervous. But the moment they sat on him, it was like he just knew—his job was to keep them safe. He impressed me every day, it was beyond anything I could have ever asked him for.

Words cannot accurately describe how much he will be missed and I will miss him forever. Loving him was the privilege of my lifetime.
