Bobo
Hello. My name is Bobo. Bobo Tietze.
I was born on July 2, 2009, raised by my pawrents and through my years I had oh so much fun. Going to day care and playdates (Dogma, SODOG, and Raising Canine), I made so many friends and (ahem) a dozen or so girlfriends. They taught me how to socialize, how to play, and when needed, how to be, well… somewhat quiet(er). Getting dressed up in costumes, I went to lots of Halloween parties as a Ghostbuster, and a ghost, a Minion and a bee, Superman, Spiderman, Yoda, Darth Vader, an Ewok, and so many others. I met Santa on many occasions (funny he always looked different?). I loved going to Agility classes jumping high, going through the weave poles, in the tunnel and over the A-Frame, also advertising agility on a website. I traveled to many places in Alberta, British Columbia, and Washington state. Working out with my pawrents, in our gym, through hikes, the treadmill and swimming (Canine Fitness Center, Pawsitively Pooched, and Petfinity) kept me in great shape. Playing with my favorite toys: Tiger, Monkey, Yellow Bone, finding the squeaks right away, I LOVE squeakers! The Disney shows were my favorite, but NOT Aliens.
In April of 2024, I decided not to eat and just wanted yummy treats. Concerning Mommy and Daddy, they took me to the vet (VCA Canada Harvest Hills Animal Hospital) and through them to the (VCA Canada Calgary Animal Referral & Emergency Centre C.A.R.E) where they incidentally found a mass in my spleen. I had surgery to get my spleen removed. The biopsy came back benign, and I was free again. Ten months later, I decided not to eat again. Once again, my pawrents took me to my vet, then the C.A.R.E Centre where through another biopsy, it came back that I had Hemangiosarcoma. Unfortunately, my incredible strength was not enough to fight away this nasty cancer, and I continued not to eat. Mommy and daddy consulted numerous doctors and specialists. Through their amazing love on February 10th, 2025, they decided to set me free to cross the rainbow bridge to play with my cousins, my friends, and relatives.
One day I will see them again, holding my yellow bone ready to play catch.
