Our little Gemma came to us in 2011 from a rescue organization after enduring a horrible existence of abuse and neglect.  Gemma was a scared, nervous little dog when she arrived but with lots of love and consistency she came to know stability and was a joy to our family for the next 14 years.  

Her passing has left a huge hole in our hearts but we are confident we will meet her again and that she is playing with our other beloved pets that have crossed the rainbow bridge.  Her absence is felt by many friends as well as our other two dogs who are still looking for her.  

Never has there been a dog with a personality like Gemma's and she will always be remembered fondly with so much love and we are comforted to know we gave her 14 years of love to somewhat make up for her rocky start in life.  

Our sweet Gemma, we think of you often with warmth and an abundance of gratitude that you chose us to help you heal from your rough beginnings. Until we meet again.....xoxoxoxoxo
