We kindly invite you to the UCVM Trainee Research Day 2021, held as a virtual event over two half days on May 6th & 7th (8:30 am to 1 pm). This event is open to the entire UCVM community.

Please find the UCVM Trainee Research Days Abstract booklet, which includes details regarding the agenda, and a complete compilation of abstract which will be presented.

Judges will be using the following rubric when examining both 10-minute and 3-minute presentations. The expected amount of scientific content will be scaled depending on the length of the presentation.

Award Details

Best featured oral presentations and best short oral presentations will receive cash prizes each ($300, $200, $100; for students and PDFs in separate categories). Prize winners will also be recognized during the UCVM Awards Night 2021. Awards will be announced at 12:30 on Friday, May 7^th.

The UCVM Trainee Research Days Organizing Committee will also be hosting a Participation Passport prize competition. Follow along and be entered to win cash prizes. Simply fill in the provided codes given before and after presentations to collect points. Participants with the most points will be entered into a prize draw.

Prizes include:

$100 Amazon voucher,
$25 SkiptheDishes gift cards (x4), and
10$ Tim Hortons gift cards (x10).

Please send this passport to Charlie Kwok (hongting.kwok@ucalgary.ca) by Tuesday, May 11th. Winners will be announced by Friday May 14^th.
