Bennie was the sweetest boy who loved shoulder rides, napping in his catio, and visiting with family and friends. 

I had the good fortune of meeting Bennie at Calgary Animal Services in 2012. He epitomized the joys of pet adoption and enriched my life immeasurably.

In his senior years, Bennie was a real trouper. He took his medications without complaint, and he still had joyous zoomies on occasion! 

As heartbreaking as it was to say goodbye, on November 12th, 2024, I was grateful that a compassionate veterinarian gave Bennie a peaceful goodbye in the comfort of home.

Bennie was deeply loved, and he will be missed dearly. ♥️
