I would like to sincerely thank you for this scholarship. As someone who has lived on a mixed grain and cow calf farm in central Alberta, I have always dreamed of finding a career that allows me to work with livestock and remain rooted in agriculture. When I was accepted into vet school, that dream finally started to become a reality, and for this I am incredibly grateful. However, these next few years of school do not come without a cost, so every bit of financial help will be extremely helpful. I cannot thank you enough for this award. This will undoubtedly bring me one step closer to becoming a large-animal vet and helping people and animals in need.

Thank you so very much for this award. While in my final year of veterinary school, it has eased the burden of my tuition costs and my travel expenses as I relocate around the province from rotation to rotation. The reduction in financial stress has been significant and, consequently, my overall well-being has benefited. I cannot thank you enough for this award. Volunteering and participating in the equine community has been rewarding on its own accord, and I highly recommend it for anyone that can give back to this fantastic community.
