Professor appears as expert witness for House of Commons Standing Committee

On April 11, Professor Jennifer Koshan appeared as an expert witness before the House of Commons Standing Committee on the Status of Women, to address Bill C-337, An Act to amend the Judges Act and the Criminal Code (sexual assault). The Bill proposes to introduce mandatory judicial education for new federally appointed judges on sexual assault law and social context, and to require written reasons in sexual assault cases.
