Lorenzo

In 2019, our trainer discovered Lorenzo- who at that time was a 6 y/o green OTTB- and described him as a 'diamond in the rough.' She was absolutely correct. Those who knew Lorenzo knew him as one of the friendliest and sweetest horses in the barn. He loved people, horses, cats, and dogs alike, and always had his nose reaching out of his stall for some attention and pets. He was truly precious and brought so much happiness to my family. 

I can recall my last day with him. After an enjoyable ride in the outdoor arena and quick trail ride, I took him out to graze. A deer and her two fawns stood in the arena, and with no hesitation Lorenzo walked as close as he could before starting to graze- just happy to have some company. That goes to show the kind of horse he was- fearless, loving, and always a happy guy.
