Timber was a wild foal, rescued by Help Alberta Wildies Society in May 2024 when he was just days old. Though his life was short, it was filled with love, courage, and an unbreakable bond with the people who cared for him. Timber faced many health challenges, yet he fought with the spirit of the wild until January 8, 2025, when his journey came to an end.

People from around the world were captivated by Timber, but to one person, he was more than special—he was a heart horse. Darrell and Timber were inseparable, their connection so deep that even in Timber’s hardest moments, he stood watch over Darrell as he rested beside him in the barn.

Timber’s time on this earth was brief, but his impact will last forever. He will always be remembered, his spirit running free in the hearts of those who loved him.
